Sunrise over Whitesides Mountain
Here is another shot that I took that cold, cold morning. I'd been out there for about an hour, with only the passing cars, and biting wind to keep me company. My fingers were really frozen at this point and even pressing the camera shutter button was quite painful. But warmth was there. The sun was up. I could see at least that I wouldn't fall down the mountain, so I hung out until all the reds, oranges, and yellows left the sky and I could see the face of Whitesides Mountain itself.
A truly spectacular way to welcome a new day. Hope you enjoy. :)
